Miguel A. Hernandez is a Mexican writer, filmmaker, and actor who seamlessly blends his heritage with his American experiences to create captivating stories. Relocating from Michoacan, Mexico, to Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the age of 16, Miguel’s films serve as a bridge between cultures, effortlessly weaving together elements of tradition and contemporary themes. Collaboration is key to his creative process, as he surrounds himself with diverse talents who share his passion for storytelling, resulting in music videos and short films that resonate universally. Through his art, Miguel endeavors to foster understanding and connection, transcending cultural divides and inviting audiences to celebrate the richness of human experience.
Tessa Osborne is an award-winning photojournalist/ film director based in Michigan’s Capital City. Born in Changsha, China, and adopted and raised in Michigan. Osborne studied Journalism and Documentary Production at Michigan State University. She spent most of her time reporting, editing podcasts, shooting documentaries, and managing news staff. Osborne is known for her select showing at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle for her work on ‘Higher Way’. The music video has also been chosen to screen at Capital City Film Festival in 2024.
Osborne currently works as a full-time News Photographer/Editor at WILX News 10. Previous to this role she has edited promotional videos for non-profits and wrote list articles for The Collider.
