Felipe Vargas

Colombian-American filmmaker Felipe Vargas is a DGA and Imagen award winner, selected as a Latino Content Creator to Watch by Variety. His films focus on the supernatural and macabre.

Felipe directed the upcoming horror-thriller feature “Rosario” for Mucho Mas Media and Jaguar Bite (starring Emeraude Toubia, Paul Ben Victor, and David Dastmalchian). Felipe is currently developing a biopic based on the life of Colombian rockstar icon “Juanes” for Exile Content, as well as developing other genre projects for Paramount Pictures and Broken Road. His latest horror short film “Hive” stars Xochitl Gomez.

As a writer, Felipe is penning “Bob the Builder” for Mattel Films and MGM, produced by Jennifer Lopez and starring Anthony Ramos. He was previously the Pilot writer on a fantasy-adventure series based on Mexico’s beloved “Loteria” card game for Sony Television, Amazon FreeVee, and the late Norman Lear.
