Fernanda Tovar

FILM: I WANT TO VIOLENTLY CRASH INTO THE WINDSHIELD OF LOVE

Born in Mexico City in 1991, she graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. She was a grantee of FONCA to write Una chica triste. In 2020, Fernanda was part of Berlinale Talents Guadalajara and later participated in the first edition of Berlinale Talents Latin America: Memories of a Territory. In 2022, her short film Mi edad, la tuya y la edad del mundo was screened at the Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the invitation to FICM, where she previously received a special mention. She is currently developing her first feature film: Una chica triste.
