As Vice President of Multicultural Marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures, Salcines is responsible for strategic planning and execution of marketing efforts dedicated to reaching diverse audiences, a key driving force of today’s box office. He works closely with cross-divisional partners, bridging digital, creative, media partnerships and publicity to create authentic, nuanced campaigns that speak to multicultural audiences and generate cultural impact.
Over the course of his tenure, Salcines has spearheaded breakthrough campaigns delivering strong box office results from multicultural audiences on films including Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Barbie, Wonka, The Batman, Elvis, Crazy Rich Asians, The Conjuring Universe, Father of the Bride (HBO Max), Blue Beetle and The Color Purple.
Prior to joining WB Pictures in 2016, Salcines was Marketing Director for MundoFOX, where he was a core member of the team who launched the Spanish language broadcast network in 2012. He subsequently oversaw the marketing, publicity, and affiliate relations efforts, successfully spearheading campaigns for shows such as El Factor X (The X Factor) and 100 Latinos Dijeron (Family Feud).
Before that, Salcines worked for six years at 20th Television and MyNetworkTV, managing the on-air creative efforts for syndicated properties such as Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, 24, Modern Family and The Simpsons.
