Carlos Chaves is a creative strategist and digital innovator at the forefront of sports and entertainment. As the Director of Digital and Innovation at Concacaf, Carlos leads the development and execution of digital, social, and product strategies across all platforms and competitions. His work spans marquee men’s and women’s tournaments, including the Concacaf Gold Cup, Concacaf Champions Cup, Concacaf W Champions Cup, Concacaf Nations League, Concacaf W Gold Cup, and Concacaf W Championship, as well as youth, Olympic, and regional club tournaments. Through these efforts, Carlos supports the Confederation’s mission to grow the game, foster inclusivity, and deliver world-class football experiences to fans across the region.
With over 13 years of experience across digital media, branded content, and commercial strategy, Carlos has helped redefine how global audiences connect with the game. His work bridges sports culture and storytelling, fueling a new wave of fan engagement through data-driven content, original series, and live-event storytelling that spans from stadiums to streaming platforms.
Before joining Concacaf, Carlos served as Vice President and Head of the Creative Branded Content Studio at Fox Networks Group Latin America, and as Head of Digital at beIN Sports. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and creative passion to every project, shaping the future of football storytelling across borders, screens, and generations.
